Project Status: Current project
Goal: Improving energy efficiency and increasing the share of renewable energy for heating and cooling in buildings owned by the municipality of Pavlikeni, contribute to creating a sustainable and healthy social environment and a higher standard of living at the Municipality .
Specific objectives:
– Implementation of energy efficiency measures in the town Primary School. White Church to achieve energy class “C”;
– Implementation of energy efficiency measures in the administrative building of the Municipality of Pavlikeni to achieve energy class “B”;
– Implementation of energy efficiency measures in a home for elderly people “Karaisen” to achieve energy class “B”.
Activities:
– Object: Primary School “Bacho Kiro”,  the town of Byala Cherkva:
1. Building a local boiler plant with new pellet boiler with a capacity of 150,1 kW;
2. Construction of a new water heating system – panels and aluminum radiators equipped with Thermal valves;
3. Installation of 2 pcs. Circulation pumps with frequency regulation and built microprocessor system for automatic adjustment.
– Object: Administrative building of the municipality of Pavlikeni
1. Building a local boiler plant with condensing boiler on natural gas with a capacity of 65 kW;
2. Construction of a new two-pipe water low temperature heating system, with a heaters as radiators and fan coils;
3. Replace the expansion tank;
4. Installation of 2 pcs. Circulation pumps with frequency regulation and built microprocessor system for automatic adjustment;
5. Establishment of a centralized cooling system with cooling chiller with a capacity of 64 kW.
– Object: House for elderly people, Karaisen village:
1. Construction of a new boiler system with pellet boiler with a capacity of 46,5 kW;
2. Construction of a new heating system – new piping system and new aluminum radiators;
3. Construction of a heat pump system for domestic hot water – 50 kW.
Expected results:
– Reduce the separated CO2 emissions by 196,115 tCO2/year;
– Increase energy savings of 210,192 MWh / year;
– Good practices learned from joint cooperation with Norwegian partners;
– Improved living conditions and working conditions in renovated buildings, municipal property.
